From this point on all blog posts are at our new property, more inland. Important points:
- Large property, around 40 acres
- More extremes of temperature (minimums can be up to ten degrees lower than in the city, while maximums are up to 5 degrees above that of the city, depending on the day).
- Very rocky and clay soil
- Exposed and windy
- August, winds tend to be from the West. Earlier in the year they tend to be Easterly with some Southerlies.
- July and August are pretty cold. Lowest temperature recorded has so far been 6 degrees, but these months typically fall between 7 and 12 in the mornings, but maximums are always in the twenties
- Summer is predominantly in the 30's (temp), mostly in the low, but frequently between 35 and 38 (Feb seems particularly hot).
